TranscenDance Studios began in June 2009 when founding director, Cait Jones, was looking for a new home for her nonprofit youth tap ensemble, TransRhythm Tap. Recognizing a need in the Oak Park community for a dance studio that cared for its families on an individualized compassionate level, Cait vowed to provide such an atmosphere while offering a variety of classes on the forefront of their industries.

Mission: TDS strives to offer the highest quality dance education, in an individualized manner, through progressive business practices.

Vision: Their vision is to provide our students with the cutting-edge tools to succeed in both the realm of dance, as well as life's other expeditions.

Offerings: TDS offers dance classes for ages 3 and up in tap, hip hop, jazz, lyrical, ballet, pointe, leaps & turns, tumbling, flexibility, drill team prep and more. Class levels range from beginning to professional.
