Medical Training with Nurse Amity

Item Number: 711
Time Left: CLOSED
Description
Explore a hands-on study in health metrics with our own Nurse Amity. The winning bidder and three friends will learn how to use a sphygmomanometer (blood pressure cuff), an otoscope (to visualize the ear drum), pulse oxymeter (to measure blood oxygen levels), a glucose meter (to test sugar levels in the blood), a stethoscope (for hearing heart and breath sounds), as well as how to count pulse, respirations, and how to assess pupil changes. This a great lesson for future nurses, doctors, and veterinarians, or even parents who would like to learn these skills! Recommended for middle school students.
