Artist Statement:
Since living in Marblehead, I have developed an affinity for capturing views of water and sky in oil paintings. This cod project was an opportunity to capture a magnificent moon rise, the Snow Moon.
Artist Biography:
Marcia Hostetter is an oil painter. In 2019, she received two Best of Show awards for her oil paintings from the Marblehead Festival of Arts. While she teaches psychology at Salem State University, she has also taught the Psychology of Art and Creativity at Montserrat School of Art, in Beverly, MA

Special Instructions
Pick-up of purchased cods will be July 13 from 12-3 and July 14 from 3-6 at Sagan Harborside Sotheby's 1 Essex St, Marblehead. The winning bidder will receive a notification email with information including pick-up time and location.
If the winning bidder requires shipping, their credit card will be charged a separate $35 fee to cover USPS ground and handling. Shipping is available within the U.S. only and must be requested within 7 days after receipt of the notification email.
If the winning bidder has not picked up their cod (or provided shipping address) within 30 days after the close of the auction, the cod will become the property of Marblehead Festival of Arts, Inc.
