During Afternoon Tea at Val's you will be served an array of traditional and home baked English treats that will delight you both visually and by taste. You see, at Val's it's not just about the food, it's also about the experience itself. It's about beautiful fine china teacups and teapots, sugar cubes, delicious teas, refinement and of course delectable savoury and sweet treats.

That's what it is - a TREAT for yourself.

Served on elegantly appointed china. Food selections will vary day to day. A sample below will give you an idea of the yumminess you can expect:

• An assortment of finger sandwiches, such as Coronation Chicken Salad, Egg Salad, Cucumber, Smoked Salmon, Over Roasted Turkey, and Ham and Cheese.


• A warm savoury pastry - the house favourite is our Sausage and Apricot pie!


• Two warm scones served with butter and jam. 


• A delightful selection of sweets, cakes and tarts, all served in dainty sizes. Coconut Macaroons, Caramelized Date Squares, Lemon Meringue Pie, Pecan Shortbread, and Bakewell Tarts to name a few.
