Everyone knows that we love our food at Crossroads Fund...and one of the foods that we absolutely adore are Tacotlan's quesabirria tacos. Mmmmmm quesabirria tacos....

Tacotlan first started off as a regular taqueria until the pandemic hit in 2020. The father and daughter duo/owners knew that they had to be creative to survive so they decided to bring the quesabirria back because they saw that it was a dish that was gaining popularity in California.

Serving the quesabirria started off as a special for the weekends only but after seeing that the quesabirria was selling out every day, they decided to keep it on the menu permanently. Now the quesabirria is the top-seller of the restaurant and they have an extensive birria menu. They have even done collabs with other chefs like Chef Darnell from Luellas Southern Kitchen for a birria mac and cheese, Chef Yari from Casa Yari for a birria mofongo,  Ponce Restaurant for a birria jibarito and Chicago's Pizza for a birria pizza.
