Description

This two-color screen-print was done by Roger Peet. Peet explains the piece on the JustSeeds website:

I like to use biological metaphors for aspects of human culture. I've been thinking a lot about what it might mean to really change this society lately, and everything comes back to the idea of taking it totally apart and trying to make something different out of the components. How to represent this biologically? Mushrooms came instantly to mind, relentless digesters of anything they can get their mycelia on.

This image was made from two hand-drawn and hand-cut layers of rubylith film, printed on a lovely heavyweight citrine paper I got from the much-missed Stumptown printers.

Now is your chance to own this beautiful and poignant print.
