Description
This understated decorative quilt - Together/Alone - was made by Leslie Ramyk and features the Gye Nyame symbol on indigo Aldire Eleco cloth. The traditional fabric was donated by Crossroad Fund's own Jane Kimondo and combined with up-cycled men's shirts.
Each circle is subtly different because of the dyeing process. The quilt is a jumble collage of framed symbol-circles, contrasting those differences.
Measures 29" x 40"
Understated but striking.
Special Instructions
Item will be available for pick up in one of two ways:
- If you are attending the event, you can pick up at the end of Seeds of Change on April 5.
- If you are unable to attend, the item will be available for pick up at Crossroads Fund's Logan Square office after April 15.
