The Drawing is an original, colored pencil on paper, 8.5 x 11 inches, unframed.


The Print is a limited edition silkscreen on archival cotton rag paper with deckle edge, 18 x 24 inches, unframed.



The winning bidder can choose either one.


Ed Fella (born 1938) is a renowned American graphic designer, artist and educator known for his experimental and irreverent approach to typography.
His work has influenced a generation of designers and is held in the collections of major museums including the Walker Art Center, the Cooper Hewitt, LACMA and MoMA in New York.
In 2022, a monograph on his 60-year career, "Ed Fella: A Life in Images" was published by Unit Editions and his work was exhibited in multiple shows including "Ed Fella: Drawing" at Fisk Projects in Portland, Oregon which showcased his most recent drawings. Fella is currently professor emeritus at CalArts and you can see more of his work on instagram.com/edwardfella.
