"My main form of creativity is oil painting which most often coincides with digital photography. My inspiration comes from subjects that include anything I find personally interesting, beautiful, and/or humorous. When I paint, I most certainly do not wish to recreate reality, otherwise, I would just print a photo. I tend to exaggerate color and tone to create a more vivid version of reality. When one really scrutinizes something, multitudes of colors can be seen. However, people do not typically take the time to truly focus on life around them, and I hope to capture what they don't see.... " - Kristen Delgado Gitchell
