I gifted flowers to my partner in the months following the death of her mother. From their nascent pre-bloom, to the falling of the first pedal, this felt like witnessing the death of a friend or a loved one. I honoured this experience by making portraits throughout their evolution.

Dans les mois qui ont suivi le décès de sa mère, j'ai offert des fleurs à ma tendre moitié. Entre la préfloraison et la chute de la première pédale, j'ai eu l'impression d'assister à la mort d'un proche. J'ai honoré cette expérience en réalisant des portraits tout au long des changements.
