This ZERO SHOCK leash is the only leash I will use for my fear/reactive Maltese, Colby. He lunges and barks at people and animals and I can control Colby's fearful behavior (and calm him) by grabbing the leash at the "shock-absorbing bongee cord section" - halfway down the leash. This has prevented injuries to both Colby's delicate throat/chest area and to me by preventing him from dragging me around instead of walking calmly. I REALLY appreciate EZDOG products. This leash is slightly used, but in very good condition.
