Stunning artist-made vintage necklace. Piece is part of an old estate The metal is unknown- it looks like silver with yellowish areas either by intentionality of the artist or tarnish. However a quick glimpse by a jeweler determined that it is not silver and he could not identify it further. The agate is unique and beautiful. In some lighting it appears chocolate brown in color. In other lighting it looks more yellowish brown. Either way, the agate, the "hammered," layered metal choker and the unique clasp are standouts. This is a great conversation piece as well as an art-jewelry piece. I am guessing it was made in either Europe or South America due to what I know of the late-owner's travels.
