The Martha's Vineyard Film Center was opened in 2012 by the MV Film Society and consists of the Marilyn Meyerhoff Theatre, a 180-stadium seat digital cinema and stage, and an educational and workshop room. The Film Society is a member funded 501c3 and is dedicated to screening the best independent films, movie classics, documentaries, and world cinema for diverse audiences of all ages.
