Included are all base member benefits. This includes museum discounts, special invitations to events, openings and previews, Quarterly subscriptions, two guest passes and all children under 18 are free.

The Martha's Vineyard Museum inspires all people to discover, explore, and strengthen their connections to this Island and its diverse heritage. It was originally known as the Dukes County Historical Society. It was founded in 1922 and incorporated the following year. The founders devoted a great deal of their time, energy, and resources towards the documentation of the Island's role in American history and greater maritime industry. The collection houses an original 1854 Fresnel lens from the Gay Head lighthouse, given to the Historical Society by the Coast Guard. 

In 2011 the Museum purchased the 1895 Marine Hospital; a capital campaign ensued, and the MV Museum opened its new doors in March 2019.
