Solid wood frame is 3.5" wide. Matted in linen.

Artist signed in lower right corner. 

The piece appears to be mid-20th century, and is executed in a modern impressionist style. The blues and yellows of the painting are complimented by the azure and gold framing. Some cracking of the paint due to age, but it doesn't affect the overall appearance of the piece. Stunning in person!
