The HCHS Art and Music Department would like to contribute a custom laser engraved photograph on wood, with optional text.

The winner of this lot would be able to submit a personal photograph (family photo, pet, loved one, favorite place, etc.), which would then be engraved on a wooden plaque with our GlowForge Laser Cutter. An example of a lasercut image on wood is shown here (of Hunter College High School).

With a photo from the buyer, subject matter, sizing, contrast, and other factors would additionally be considered to ensure the best possible ‘print.’ The wood could be left unsealed or finished with a gloss.

The custom print can be scaled to preference, but a 5x7” photo works best. The print can be 8x10” at the largest. For best results, the photo should be a high quality image of at least 300 DPI.
