HAWKS by HCHS, acrylic & spray paint on heavy duty canvas, 36 by 48 inches

On May 2, the HCHS students took part to create a beautiful work of art! They had fun decompressing and expressing themselves through the artwork with their friends!

This is an unprecedented opportunity to own a canvas created by the talented Hunter Students - a first-ever school-wide collaborative art project created specifically for the Hunter Journey Gala fundraiser. Students of all grades had the opportunity to leave their mark painting their expressions in layers upon layers in shades of purple, white and black using various methods (rollers, paintbrushes, scraffiti and splatter. Bid on the final art piece, unveiling the word ‘HAWKS’ underneath. The back of the canvas features signatures of the students who took part from all the grades (see attached image).
