Days & Four Nights with a Two-Bedroom Apartment for Four guests.

Experience the art of living with all your senses in Bordeaux, France! Renowned as the world capital of wine, this dynamic port city set on the Garonne River in southwestern France is recognized by connoisseurs and wine enthusiasts for its exceptional appellations, and welcomes 5.5 million tourists every year, who split their visits between the region's castles and vineyards, exploring the city's UNESCO-listed area and the seashores of the Aquitaine coast.
LA CITÉ DU VIN
Visit La Cité du Vin, it's a must for wine enthusiasts. France’s premier wine museum is an interactive experience engaging all of your senses, ending with a wine tasting on the top floor and a panoramic view over Bordeaux.
The permanent exhibition takes you on a journey through the greatest wine regions of the world, wine making processes and techniques throughout the centuries and a sensory experience of everything but tasting wine. But don’t worry, because you do get to taste on the top floor at the end of the visit.
There’s also events, temporary exhibitions and various wine classes and workshops. One of our favorite events is the Ciné Gourmand, which pairs a movie with a delicious movie-themed tasting dinner with wine pairings.
Get a true gourmet taste for this beloved region on a tour of two wineries, plus dinner at an award-winning restaurant. Discover the Medoc, home of the best Cabernet in the world, when you go on two wine tastings at two wineries on a full-day tour! While the Medoc has been populated since Roman times, the area did not
become what wine lovers consider to be the world's epicenter for fine wine until the start of the 18th century when the majority of the land switched to the cultivation of grapes for the production of Bordeaux wine.
Prior to that, much of the land was used for other agricultural products, hunting
grounds and vacation escapes for the wealthy. The most popular grape used for Bordeaux wine from the Medoc is Cabernet Sauvignon, followed by Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Malbec and Carmenere - you'll only find red wine produced here!
