Mexican copper pitcher in the shape of a toucan
Purchased in Mexico City in 1965
Beautiful, elegant, hand wrought, art deco Castillo Sottaxco copper figural ewer modelled as a Toucan type bird, its open mouth forming the spout. Both the eyes & handle inlaid with Turquoise. The base impressed: Castillo Sottaxco , Hand Wrought, Hecho En Mexico 315.
Approx. 12 1/2" high x 8" wide.
