Artist: Nick Heaney

Nicholas Heaney is a Cape Cod-based artist with an ever-growing body of work directly inspired by the coastal landscape surrounding him. Using the process of heavy impasto to sculpt textures that break the two-dimensional plane of the traditional painting, Heaney achieves what some refer to as sculpture on canvas. As a neurodiverse artist, art has always been the most genuine way to connect with the world around him. Heaney graduated from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Currently, he is a resident artist at Artnova Gallery located in Chatham.
