Artist: Laurie McCarthy

Laurie Semple McCarthy enjoys painting in a realistic style with a vintage feel. Many of her current works in acrylic on pine boards are reminiscent of centuries-old tavern signs with a contemporary twist. She holds a B.A. degree in Studio Art from Hamilton College and has been a Cape resident since 2004. During the week, you can also find her at Eastward Companies, where she works as the comptroller.
