Redstripe and Other Dachshund Tales is collection of five stories about the antics of the comical little hounds sometimes known (by those who don't really understand them) as "Weiner Dogs." It is based on the travel adventures of the authors, a retired educator, and his experiences with this loving and popular breed of dogs.

Anyone around the globe who has ever been "owned" by one or more of these dogs will identify immediately with the little canines Redstripe, Belle, Bernard, Lampshake and the rest. They all are true to the dachshund breed and therefore run ring around their human companions while proving what fools people can really be.
