Description

Dr. Lloyd Fujimoto spends months and years waiting on the coastline for the perfect moment when the celestial background and the foreground of Kauai align. "I love the expanse of the Milky Way and the universe in the background with Kauai in the foreground, coming together to create a night which is rarely experienced."

In "Magic Night Light", Dr. Lloyd Fujimoto captures the enchanting beauty of the Milky Way illuminating the tranquil landscape below. The metallic photo paper accentuates the dazzling starry sky, giving the photograph a radiant depth that draws the viewer into the magic of the night. A single tree stands against the backdrop of the brilliant celestial display, its branches glowing subtly under the starlight, as if touched by the light of the universe itself. This rare composite photo measures 18" x 12.5".

From the artist: “ I love the expanse of the Milky Way and the universe in background with the Kauai in the foreground. Together to they create a moment which is rarely experienced.”

This piece evokes a sense of wonder, blending the vastness of the cosmos with the quiet, grounded beauty of the earth. The Milky Way, in its luminous splendor, contrasts with the dark silhouette of the tree, creating a harmonious balance between the natural and the cosmic, the grounded and the ethereal.

Dr. Lloyd Fujimoto is a practicing dentist in Lihue, Kauai. He graciously donates this rare photo of turtles graced by the Poipu moonlight to the Center because his father was a long time supporter of the Lawai International Center.
