The O’Connell Family opened The Wine Shop in December of 2006 in the heart of Koloa Town on Kauai. Their vision for the shop was simply to provide an amazing assortment of wines to guests and residents on the Southside of the island. Over the last 10 years the store has evolved expanding its offerings to include wine, champagne, spirits, beer, gourmet items and gift baskets, as well as a place to get your marriage license. The shop’s friendly and knowledgeable staff, the husband and wife team of Dan and Ellen O’Connell are prepared to help you find the perfect choice to please your palate and pocketbook. Whether you are dropping in for an old favorite, putting together the perfect picnic basket, shopping for a special occasion, or simply rounding out your gourmet pantry, The Wine Shop has it all.

The Wine Shop is open 10am to 7pm Monday thru Saturday and from 11am to 6pm on Sundays.
