Overlooking Parker’s River in West Yarmouth, we serve lunch and dinnerseven days a week and are best known for our multi-award-winning, thick and creamy, New England clam chowder. On the menu, you will find no shortage of Cape Cod’s iconic fare: fresh seafood, hearty burgers, local raw bar, choice meats, homemade soups and sauces, and of course, chowder all freshly prepared on-site.

We pride ourselves on being a family-owned, family-friendly restaurant where you are sure to see the same familiar faces among the staff as well as the patrons. The bar at Captain Parker’s is a congenial Cape Cod pub with plenty of local color. It’s a friendly place for a drink, a snack, or a full meal, and you’ll be served by one of our veteran bartenders, Chris, John, Mike D., Matt, Mike C., Shaylee, or Roger.

If you want to watch “the game,” there is no shortage of televisions, along with Keno and lottery to keep you entertained. While at the bar, you can peruse the collection of over 5,000 patches from police, firefighters, EMTs, security, and military personnel from all over the world. In warmer weather, we invite you to make yourself comfortable on our outdoor patio, where you will find a second bar and several tables shaded from the sun with a view of Parker’s River.

Over the years, Captain Parker’s has participated in the Cape Cod Chowder Festival, the Newport Chowder Cook-Off, and the Boston Chowder Festival accumulating a total of 18 first place trophies and earning us the title of triple crown chowder champions. Our chowder has appeared in numerous programs on the Food Network and was even mentioned in a question on Jeopardy!
