Originally 28 acres of land occupied by the Ridge School, a private boys’ school built in 1894, the school closed its doors to learning in 1919. A former student then converted the school into the Mayflower Inn, as it has operated under various owners since. In 1990, an additional 30 acres were purchased, while our world-class Spa House was added in 2006. Today, we welcome you to our home to enjoy the many charms of both our Inn and the Connecticut countryside.
