Mary Ricker is a retired oncology nurse who discovered the joy of learning about, designing and making seashell artwork including Sailor's Valentines and home decor fine craft items. Sailors Valentines made by Mary have been acquired by the Chatham Historical Society-Atwood Museum.


"Fleurs de Mer I" is one of a series of seashell flower focused shadow boxes made in 2023. The work uses seashells from many parts of the world to create a unique type of still-life. Some of the seashells were collected by Ms. Ricker and others obtained from ethically sourced shops. This artwork can be wall mounted or displayed on an easel stand (stand included in sale).

Special Instructions

A note on bidding: Any high bid that does not follow the listed bidding increments will be nullified and voided.


 The Bidding Increments are as follows:


   $1-99, the bidding increment is $5


   $100-199, the bidding increment is $10


   $200-499, the bidding increment is $20


   $500-999, the bidding increment is $50


   $1000 and up, the bidding increment is $100


 


Items can be picked up at the Attleboro Arts Museum from November 7th – 9th, 2024. The Museum is open Tuesday - Saturday from 10am-5pm. In-person pickup is preferred. If an item is to be shipped, the winning bidder is responsible for all shipping arrangements and handling costs. After arrangements have been made, items will be shipped no later than November 15th. Winners of specialty items that do not require pickup will be contacted with details by November 8th. The artist retains all reproduction and copyrights.
