Description

Watercolor

28" x 26" x 1"

Jerry Aissis was part of a group of anchor artists at The Artists Studio and Gallery at Patriot Place for twelve years. This was a great experience and Aissis enjoyed meeting so many wonderful people from all over the world. He is now teaching watercolor classes and participating in local outdoor art and craft events.

"If Stairs Could Talk" was inspired by the phrase, "If Walls Could Talk." This piece is based on an abandoned mansion with elaborate architecture and columns that are worn and fading. The viewer is invited to wonder who the owners were and who came and went up and down those stairs.
