Diane Chester-Demicco creates pendants that incorporate details of her larger cold worked glass sculpture. Also working in cast bronze, cast glass, and found beach stones, she has exhibited her sculpture nationally including the AAM where she twice received a juror's award in its annual national juried exhibition.
"Magenta Shield" is cold worked glass, a process that requires no heat. Two pieces of clear glass have been laminated with a dyed epoxy that is as hard as glass. The pendant's hole was drilled with a diamond drill, sculpted with abrasive wet tools and brought to a matte finish by hand pads and pumice.

A note on bidding: Any high bid that does not follow the listed bidding increments will be nullified and voided.
The Bidding Increments are as follows:
$1-99, the bidding increment is $5
$100-199, the bidding increment is $10
$200-499, the bidding increment is $20
$500-999, the bidding increment is $50
$1000 and up, the bidding increment is $100
Items can be picked up at the Attleboro Arts Museum from November 7th – 9th, 2024. The Museum is open Tuesday - Saturday from 10am-5pm. In-person pickup is preferred. If an item is to be shipped, the winning bidder is responsible for all shipping arrangements and handling costs. After arrangements have been made, items will be shipped no later than November 15th. Winners of specialty items that do not require pickup will be contacted with details by November 8th. The artist retains all reproduction and copyrights.
