Playwrights Ian Shaw and Joseph Nixon's The Shark is Broken follows the 1974 production of the movie Jaws. Three Hollywood hot shots are stuck in a small boat in the open ocean with rapid waters and a mechanical shark. Egos collide as alcohol and tempers overflow on the way to creating cinematic magic. Brightman, the Tony-nominated star of Beetlejuice and School of Rock, starred in the show with Shaw and Colin Donnell.
