This handwritten musical phrase from Aladdin was written and signed by Oscar and Tony Award-winning composer Alan Menken. From the song "Friend Like Me," Menken has written the lyric, "You ain't never had a friend like me!"

Menken was nominated for a Tony for best score for Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid and Sister Act. He won for Newsies.

Aladdin follows a street urchin who falls in love with Princess Jasmine, becomes friends with a wish-granting genie and battles an evil sorcerer.

The show opened at the New Amsterdam Theatre March 20, 2014 and is currently running.
