This handcrafted, collectible bear, created for the Broadway Bears event, is dressed as Chita Rivera in her role as Liliane La Fleur in the musical Nine.

Broadway Bears was an annual auction of one-of-a-kind, museum-quality, theatrically costumed teddy bears, each dressed in a handmade, authentic recreation of the original costume design and signed by the star who made the character famous.

Rivera starred in the 2003 revival of Nine, which follows a famous film director who is having trouble getting out of a creative rut and struggling with his personal relationships with the women in his life: his wife, mistress, producer and muse.

Riveras career spanned more than seven decades and she earned three Tony Awards, including a Special Award for Lifetime Achievement.
