This Playbill from the original Once Upon a Mattress is signed by Tony Award-winner Carol Burnett, who played Princess Winnifred in the 1959 production. Burnett, one of the most beloved comedic actors of stage and screen, earned a Tony Award for her royally rambunctious turn.

A comedic twist on The Princess in the Pea, Once Upon a Mattress follows Princess Winnifred, a free spirit who charms and fumbles her way to the top of a stack of mattresses and a kingdom.
