A rare, vintage costume sketch created for Judy Garland as Esther Blodget/Vicki Lester in the 1954 beloved classic film, A Star is Born. Garland’s costumes were designed by Academy and Tony Award winner Irene Sharaff. Sharaff was nominated for an Oscar for Best Costume Design for A Star is Born, one of 12 nominations and seven wins over her 50-year career. While this gorgeous sketch is not signed by Sharaff, it does include the signature of Sid Luft, the film’s producer and Garland’s husband, marking his approval of this iconic costume design.

This special memento of Garland’s brilliant performance and career also includes the coffee table book, A Star is Born Judy Garland and the Film that Got Away, written by her daughter Lorna Luft.
