Hadestown is a modern retelling of the ancient Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, exploring themes of love, trust and the struggle against fate, set to genre-defying music by Mitchell.

The hit production, which won eight Tony Awards including Best Musical, began previews on March 22, 2019, continues its run at the Walter Kerr Theatre.
