In the early 30's, Helen Denisevich, an immigrant from Russia, opened Helen's Restaurant in this original location. She did the homestyle cooking while her husband, Paul, did the serving. 

The menu has changed over the years, but Helen's still offers great food at a great value. The extensive menu includes old-fashioned American favorites as well as  innovative dishes using produce from local farmers.
