Stagg is a Kentucky bourbon made by Buffalo Trace, proud distillers of Pappy Van Winkle, Eagle Rare, Blanton’s, Caribou Crossing, Weller and E.H. Taylor.
For over 200 years, Buffalo Trace Distillery has been defined by a dedication to one craft: making fine bourbon whiskey. They are the oldest continuously operating distillery in America also happens to have one of the largest families of homegrown bourbon brands in any industry.

Review:
Nose: Super bright sweet candied cherries and red berries.

Palate: Sweet cherry bomb. The peach and apricot shines through after the cherry notes. Also a bit of cola and warm fruity spice...Dr. Pepper but in the best possibly way. Liquid candy

Finish: Great lingering finish. Again no burn. The cherry and cola flavors are back to wrap things up.

Final thoughts: The 2024 first Stagg batch finally hit Madison last week and wow it is something special. What was a spring/fall release kept getting delayed and has recently been summer/winter releases.
