Melinda works with interior designers and clients to make custom art on walls (murals and decorative finishes) and canvas. Her favorite subjects to paint are children. animals, and landscapes. She also teaches painting and drawing to all levels and ages.

Her work can be viewed across the Indy metro area, at the CCA Art Gallery in Carmel and the Indiana Governor's residence dining room. She particiaptes in the St. Margaret's Hospital Guild Decorators' Show House annually, where her area won the "People's Choice Award" in 2015.
