Learn how to make sticky rice cakes or "Banh Trung" to celebrate the Vietnamese New Year!  This is an awesome cultural and culinary adventure for a group of four!  The Vietnamese New Year is January 29, 2025, Wednesday. The in person or zoom time/date will be mutually agreed in/around the holiday.

A box of necessary supplies will be ready for pick up in Culver City a week ahead of time so that you can put perishable food items in your fridge. This will include special banana paper, sticky rice, yellow bean, and savory three layered pork. You will need a crock pot or large boiling pot or instant pot for the online demo.  An overnight preop is required prior to the zoom class (e.g. soaking the rice).  The in-person/in-home or Zoom demo will last 2 hours, and there will be 1-4 hours of cooking time after class is over.  Serves 4-6 people.
