La Ballona parent, Stephanie Carrie, has a popular Instagram account called TreesOfLA, where she teaches people how to identify trees in the LA urban forest, one of the most diverse urban forests in the world.  She raises awareness about tree canopy inequity and highlights the importance of trees as an urban resource. Stephanie has been featured in the LA Times and LAist and has an ongoing TikTok and Instagram video series with the LA Public Library.  Recently, she began leading tree tours for corporations and groups and considered offering a private tree tour for an auction. She is donating a one-and-a-half-hour TREE-ID walking tour of Carlson Park for up to eight people
