95 points Wine Enthusiast. This 2005 Corison Napa Cab is so balanced it hits the palate as impeccable and gorgeous. The flavors, of currants, cherries, vanilla and sweet oak, are only part of it. It is so dry, so richly structured in tannins and acids, so pure through the long, spicy finish, that it easily deserves its high score.

93pts. The 2006 vintage from Cathy Corison is lovely. The wine is a bit more black fruity in personality than is typical of this cuvée, wafting from the glass in a complex blend of cassis, a hint of black cherry, cigar smoke, beautiful Rutherford Bench soil tones, violets and a touch of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is full-bodied and quite deep at the core, with a beautifully refined structural chassis, lovely focus and grip, still a touch of firmness to the well-integrated tannins and impressive length on the complex finish. This is still several years away from really blossoming from behind its structure, but will be outstanding with a bit more patience

Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, it’s long and deep in blackberries and cassis. Give it a brief decant if you open it now, but it should develop over the next six years, at least. *Cellar Selection*
