Barbara has a Master of Music degree in vocal performance from U. of Tennessee. She has served on the faculties of Rhodes College, University of Memphis, University of Mississippi and University of Tennessee. Additionally, she has performed leading roles with the U.T. Opera, Knoxville and as a Soloist with the Knoxville Symphony. She is a member of the National Association of Teacher’s of Singing, as well as a recipient of the Outstanding Teacher Award for the Tennessee Governor’s School of the Arts.
