A lifelong Tennessean, Amy began a degree in fashion and design at the University of Memphis, later finishing a degree in Education at the University of TN. While working as a banker for almost 30 years and raising two daughters, her creativity was expressed through sewing and interior design. As an educator, she was able to guide many young students with artistic talents. Now retired, her days are spent painting and experimenting in her studio or traveling with her family, finding inspiration along the way. Most of her paintings are reminiscent of rural landscapes, waterscapes, or the human figure. Amy’s passion is to create beautiful and meaningful pieces that are timeless when mixed in any range of decorating styles. She truly believes that artwork is the heart and soul of every home.
