Description
The 2nd grade students are learning about endangered animals by conducting research through a variety of methods. After researching their animals, each 2nd grade class voted on an endangered animal they wished to make part of their classroom community.
Ms. Skaff's class chose to adopt an adorable Elephant from the World Wildlife Fund. This cute, stuffed Lion will make his presence known in Ms. Skaff's second grade classroom throughout the year. He will watch over the students during WUTV announcements in the morning, stands guard on the reading table, and join a student every Friday for a special weekend that the student writes about in a journal to share with their classmates.
Ms. Skaff's Global Pal is an important member of the classroom community and can be yours to take home at the end of the 2024-2025 academic school year in June! Along with the plush Elephant, the lucky winner will also be able to take the collection of photos and writings collected throughout the year from all their classmates!
