Alexander Wolff spent 36 years as a staff writer for Sports Illustrated, the longest tenured writer at that prestigius magazine. He has also authored or co authored 7 books on basketball. In 2011 he was honored by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame with the Curt Gowdy Media Award.
The books include Big Game/Small World, which is about spending a year chasing the game around the world to take measue of the impact! This book in 2002 was named by the New York Times Book Review as a notable book!
