The 2021 theme continues our recognition and celebration of the Suffrage Centennial which honors the women who have fought for US women’s right to vote and who today fight against voter suppression and other obstacles to women being heard.
The National Women's History Alliance will be focusing on ways to link women's history organizations and events. Our goal is to strengthen and expand the Women's History Network by making the work of all our 2021 Partners more visible.
The 2022 NWHA Women's History Magazine will provide information about ongoing events, programs, monuments, museums, and a variety of activities related to women's history. Also included is a special recognition and celebration of Women Providing Health, Promoting Hope both with biographies and memorials. Strength of Women Who Tell Their Stories
Moving Women’s History Forward 2024 is an important year both for our country and for us, This is also a year of unimagined challenges: an assault on books, eradication of Women and Black Studies, a defiance to women’s reproductive choice, omnipresent sexual violence, and a disregard of the importance of Democracy. Even our theme, Women Who Advocate for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, has been dismissed as divisive. This is an urgent call for the collective spirit of women to engage all our energies to support the American Promise and promote our power to protect and advance the rights and lives of all women. We vow to represent all women, all our sisters, as equals and to uncover unseen women, marginalized women, the unsung daily heroes. As women’s history shows us, the path to power and full recognition.
This 2024 Women's History Magazine showcases women's empowerment, awareness, and achievements in challenging and dispelling sexist stereotypes
