Description
Print signed by Rod Bradley, "Venice Oil Walls," Venice 1979
"The artist has donated an assortment of small test prints from 2016 to VSA in hopes that people can enjoy a bit of his collection!"
Rod Bradley made his first photographs at age 8 on a Kodak Brownie and was struck by the raw magic of capturing light that would eventually be etched on paper. On his 12 birthday, he purchased a 2 ΒΌ Yashica D for $19.00, with money he earned from a summer job picking strawberries. Rod has been taking pictures ever since. He continues to delight in attempting to capture life's everyday magic and the perpetual kaleidoscope of its human landscapes.
"I am always on the lookout for what I see is the poetry in the commonplace. I document what's there, hoping to reveal the humanity and vitality in what tends to be overlooked".
Rod Bradley, 2022
