 "I grew up watching my dad document everything around us.  Then, like a lot of kids growing up in Venice, I started taking my own photos during high school in Larry Shapiro's class. My Nikon broke a few years later after documenting local graffiti yards and backyard boxing matches, and I didn't shoot for over 20 years. I hunt for moments of emotion. Stories that last a fraction of a second and images of life that may have otherwise gone overlooked. I'm not a professional. I roam and shoot when I have time. I enjoy the freedom of being an amateur. I am still searching for the stories I want to tell. It's an ongoing journey that I hope to share".
