Description

The Marcus Lewis Tennis Center is offering a One-Hour Pickleball Lesson to anyone who is a new player to their program.

What is Pickleball?

Pickleball is a paddle sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong using a paddle and plastic ball with holes.

It is a game for players of all ages and skill levels.  It can also be a challenging, fast-paced, and competitive game for more experienced players. The rules for pickleball are simple, making it a great introductory sport.  It can be played either singles or doubles, though doubles is most common.

The Marcus Lewis Tennis Center (MLTC) has a great pickleball program. They offer lessons, clinics, round-robins, and in-house leagues. Pickleball is played at both MLTC East (10 Granite Road, Acton) and MLTC West (102 Nonset Path, Acton), and you do not need to be a member to reserve playing time. Individuals can book a court for pickleball use, and players can also book courts for their own pickleball groups. Paddles and balls are provided by the club if you do not have your own.
