This Homemade Applesauce started out as apples growing in the orchard at Honey Pot Hill in Stow, MA. Debbie and Paul Brookes picked the apples, peeled and cooked them until they were soft enough to mash into a smooth, delicious sauce, added some cinnamon and nutmeg to enhance the flavor, then canned the applesauce so it will be as fresh all winter as it was the day the apples were picked. There is no comparison between applesauce bought at the grocery store and homemade applesauce! Try it and see!
